Single Skiff Supplements

01 Jan – 05 Dec 25: May be booked on request at a rate of 3,900 per person per week or 650 per day. Single skiffs are subject to availability and are limited to 2 per week. 06 – 31 Dec 24: May be booked on request at a rate 4,500 per person per week or 750 per day. Single skiffs are subject to availability and are limited to 2 per week.

PAYMENT TERMS

Reservations will be held for 2 weeks. A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Final payment is due 3 months prior to arrival. Elect bank transfers: Funds sent to Blue Safari Seychelles should cover the entire amount invoiced. The recipient is responsible for all foreign exchange commissions & bank charges.

Credit card payment: Blue Safari Seychelles accepts visa and mastercard. A 5% credit card fee will be charged for all credit card payments.

CANCELLATION TERMS

A 10% fee is due if the reservation is moved to an alternative date within the same year. If it is moved to an alternative year, the 10% fee and the applicable rate increase will apply. Bookings may only be moved more than 181 days prior to arrival. A 10% fee of the total booking value will apply if cancellation is made from the confirmation date to 181 days prior to arrival. A fee of 50% of the total booking value will apply if the booking is cancelled between 180 and 91 days prior to arrival. If a booking is cancelled 90 to 0 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total booking value is due.

FLIGHTS

You will need to arrive in Mahé at least 4 hours prior to your flight, to account for any international delays. It’s as important for return flights to be booked at least 4 hours after your flight is scheduled to land back on Mahé as any delays may cause you to miss your international flights. Check in starts 1 hour before your scheduled departure time at the domestic terminal at the Mahé Airport. Check in closes 30 minutes prior to take off.

INDEMNITY & INSURANCE

All activities require guests to sign an indemnity upon arrival. A copy of the indemnity will be sent to you for reference with your pre trip information. All guests must provide ‘from scene of accident medevac insurance’ before arrival. It is highly recommended that guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation or interruption, injury, personal accidents, emergency evacuation expenses, medical and repatriation expenses, as well as delayed and lost luggage. Blue Safari cannot be held responsible for external events such as travel delays, missed connections or flights, or cancellations due to bad weather conditions, health issues, ‘force majeure’, or any other reason. The guest is liable for any and all expenses resulting from last-minute trip changes or cancellations.

SEYCHELLES

Every visitor who intends to travel by air or sea to the Seychelles must have an approved, valid Travel Authorization or Disembarkation Information Form. Applications can only be made up to 5 days prior to your arrival date in Seychelles. There are different requirements for travel to the Seychelles for citizens, permit holders and visitors. Please pay attention to the required documents that apply to you and/or your group. Note that all travellers must have a valid credit/debit card available to pay the fee. A yellow fever vaccination is required if you are travelling to Seychelles from a yellow fever endemic region. If you are transiting through an airport of a yellow fever endemic region for less than 12 hours, you do not need a yellow fever vaccination. You will need this certificate to apply for your Travel Authorization.

LUGGAGE

Checked in luggage is strictly limited to 15 kg | 33 lbs per person, and 5 kg | 12 lbs carry-on luggage.

The is a strict policy allowing delivery of provisions of fresh food and produce to the islands. If it is not possible to load extra luggage at check in, it will have to be repacked and left in Mahé until your return. PLEASE ADHERE TO THE LIMITS. It is suggested that you travel with lighter, soft shell bags. Pack a separate bag with excess luggage to avoid having to repack at the airport. Excess luggage can be left with the Blue Safari host on check in at the domestic terminal.

ENVIRONMENTAL LEVY

Please take note that the Seychelles Government has introduced a Tourism Environmental Sustainability Levy which will come into effect from the 01 August 2023. Establishments will charge and collect this levy from the visitors upon guests check-out. For more information please refer to Seychelles Tourism Sustainability Levy. This levy is applicable for all guests over 13 years old.

CONSERVATION DONATION

There is a mandatory conservation donation of $210 per person per week. This will be included in your confirmation invoice and is settled prior to arrival or on check out. Donations are complimentary for children 0 – 17 years. All packages exclude this donation which is donated to the Alphonse Foundation and Island Conservation Society. .
